He Will Not Leave My Soul in Hell in Jesus’ Mighty Name!
THE MORNING CRY GLOBAL FAMILY. INTERCESSION HOUR. DAY 470. THURSDAY 5TH NOVEMBER 2K26. 7PM WAT. 90 MINUTES. ANCHORS: PASTOR STELLA IGWE MOMMY CANDY FRIMPONG BROTHER KENNETH OSEDE 🌅 THE MORNING CRY GLOBAL FAMILY PRAYER MANUAL TOPIC: HE WILL NOT LEAVE MY SOUL IN HELL IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME! Subtitle: Divine Preservation, Deliverance from Destruction and the Assurance of God's Saving Power INTRODUCTION The declaration, “He will not leave my soul in hell,” is a powerful expression of confidence in God's preserving and delivering power. It is drawn from Psalm 16:10, a prophetic passage that Apostle Peter applied to the resurrection of Jesus Christ in Acts 2:25–32. In its fullest biblical meaning, this Scripture points to the resurrection of Jesus. Christ was not abandoned in the grave, neither did His body experience corruption. God raised Him from the dead, demonstrating His victory over death and the grave. For the believer, this truth carries tremendous assurance: because Jesus Christ lives, death, sin and the power of darkness do not have the final authority over those who belong to Him. The word hell in Psalm 16:10 translates the Hebrew word Sheol, referring to the realm of the dead. In Acts 2:27, the Greek word is Hades. Peter used this passage to proclaim that Jesus was not abandoned to the grave but was raised by God. Beyond the resurrection message, we can also draw important lessons for our daily walk with God. There are situations that make people feel as though they are sinking into a pit. Some experience deep discouragement, spiritual oppression, destructive habits, repeated failures, shame, financial distress and circumstances that seem to have swallowed their hope. But the Lord is able to lift the fallen, restore the broken, deliver the oppressed and preserve those who trust in Him. Consider these biblical examples: - Joseph: He was thrown into a pit, sold into slavery and imprisoned, but his story did not end in the pit (Genesis 37:23–28; 41:39–41). - Jonah: He found himself in the depths of the sea, but God heard his cry and brought him out (Jonah 2:1–10). - David: He experienced seasons of danger and distress, but repeatedly testified to God's delivering power (Psalm 18:4–6, 16–19). - Jesus Christ: He died, was buried and rose again on the third day, defeating the power of death (1 Corinthians 15:3–4, 20–22). Today, we are declaring that the Lord will not abandon us to destruction. He will preserve our souls, deliver us from the power of darkness, restore our hope and establish our steps in His righteousness. The pit will not be your permanent dwelling place. The grave will not have the final victory. Through Jesus Christ, there is life, hope, deliverance and resurrection!

Conclusion
CONCLUSION Psalm 16:10 is ultimately a declaration of the resurrection victory of Jesus Christ. He was not abandoned to the grave. He rose again, and because He lives, everyone who trusts in Him has an eternal hope that cannot be destroyed. Therefore, do not make peace with spiritual bondage, despair or destructive circumstances. Cry unto the Lord, stand upon His Word, walk in obedience and receive the help He provides. Your present situation is not greater than God's delivering power. The Lord who lifted Joseph from the pit, rescued Jonah from the depths and raised Jesus from the grave is able to preserve and sustain you. The grave did not hold Jesus. Destruction will not have the final word over those who belong to Him. Our hope is in the risen Christ! MY PROPHETIC CONFESSION I belong to Jesus Christ. My soul is in His hands, and my hope is established in His resurrection. I shall not surrender to sin, darkness, despair or destruction. The Lord is my Deliverer, my Keeper and my Shepherd. He restores my soul, establishes my steps and preserves me by His power. Because Jesus lives, I have hope, victory and eternal life. I will declare the works of the Lord all the days of my life. HE WILL NOT LEAVE MY SOUL IN HELL! IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME. AMEN! Bishop Dr. Moses Aluka
